Pre-launch. Checkout uses Stripe test mode only. The legal pages are drafts Edward still has to review.

Mac app · 7-day trial · one payment

Try VoiceBot for a week. Then buy it once.

VoiceBot is a Mac app. The free app stays under the GPL-3. The paid edition is a separate product under its own closed licence, sold here as a one-time purchase. There is no subscription.

7-day trial

Use VoiceBot on your Mac for a week before you pay. The app, not this website, runs the trial.

One-time purchase

Stripe Checkout is created in payment mode. It does not start a subscription and it does not bill you again.

Two licences

The free app remains GPL-3. The paid edition is offered under a closed licence of its own.

What you are choosing

This site is the buy page. Feature notes live with the app. The commercial difference is the licence and the payment.

Licence GPL-3 Closed licence, separate from the GPL

Recommended price

£39

£39 is a recommendation. Edward has not set this price.

Until a price is chosen, Checkout charges this recommended amount, once.

How buying works

  1. Try VoiceBot on your Mac for 7 days.
  2. When you want the paid edition, open the buy page and pay once in the Stripe form.
  3. Stripe collects your email in that form. Your card details stay with Stripe and are not posted to this site.
  4. This site confirms the payment. It does not email a licence key by itself.

Questions

Is this a subscription?

No. The paid edition is a one-time purchase. Checkout is not allowed to create a recurring price.

Does paying change the free app’s GPL-3 licence?

No. The free app stays GPL-3. The paid edition is a separate product under its own closed licence. The wording of that closed licence is still a draft placeholder.

Has Edward set the price?

£39 is a recommendation. Edward has not set this price. It is printed here so the page can show a concrete figure. It is not a price he has approved.

Where do my card details go?

To Stripe, inside the payment form on the buy page. This site never asks you to type a card number into its own form. The privacy notice describes what checkout collects.

Are the legal pages finished?

No. The privacy notice, terms, and cookie policy are drafts. Edward has to review them before anyone takes live payments.
